The Leadership Foundation Statement
Pull everything together — Purpose, Mindset, Values, Accountability, and P-LOS — into one foundational document, defended in a 3–5 minute video reflection. Approved capstone, CLF certificate issued.

What's expected of you
ULMS works if you work it. This is a certification program with standards — here is the deal you make with yourself when you enroll.
Follow the recommended path
The ladder runs CLF → CTL → CLC → COL, and each level builds on the last. Wherever you start, there's a level for you — we recommend climbing from Level 0.
Do the work honestly
Worksheets and capstones are graded against the ULMS 5/3/1 rubric, not against “right answers” — they are about your real behavior.
Apply it daily
Every module ends in a practice window — 7 to 90 days of real-world application, logged as you go, with AI coach check-ins along the way.
Hold the standard
Certificates are earned at Level 3 or higher on the rubric. Miss it and you get specific feedback and a resubmit — no participation trophies.
Finish what you start
Each level ends with a capstone: your integrated written work, reflection prompts, and a video reflection reviewed against the ULMS standard.
Own your development
The AI coach guides and challenges, but you build the leader. What you put in is what you get out.

About the ULMS Institute:
Our team spent over two decades developing leaders within warehouse teams of 150+, restaurant kitchens, and multi-unit operations in different cities and states for organizations including Conn's, International Trading Company, Tyson Foods, Labatt Food Service, Glazier/Gordon Foods, and Grocers Supply — before building and operating multiple businesses in various industries.
